With growth comes the responsibility of knowing when you need help, as well as the desire to give back. As most of you know, I have my hands in quite a few things and it is now time to spread the love and begin sharing experiences and knowledge with young (and not so young) creatives and people with management / administrative skills who are willing to intern for us. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about your respective craft while gaining valuable business and creative knowledge. Whether you are a graphic designer, photographer, or someone with the gift of writing compelling content, trust me, there will be plenty of work to do.
Here are a few requirements candidates must have:
Actively pursuing a degree or career (full or part time) in the creative arts (photographers and designer specific)
Understands or is willing to learn book keeping, invoicing and business communication (administration specific)
Must have a relatively fast desktop or laptop
Must have access to Adobe Creative Suite. (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design interns, Photoshop and Lightroom for photography interns)
Must have a firm grasp of social media best practices
Must have a high resolution digital camera (photographers). Designers, it doesn't hurt to have a good camera at your disposal as well.
Must be flexible and eager to learn in a real world environment.
