Regardless of your craft, I think it's important to just practice when no one is looking. Keep your iron sharp by performing on our own time, free of judgement and commission. Being passionate about what you do is key, and if you don't have the desire to do your passion on your own, then perhaps it's time to re-evaluate things and take a breather.
