manifest destiny

No, I'm not referring to the 19th century use of the term in regards to settler expansion west. To me, manifest destiny, in it's most literal sense, is a term I think is very relevant to how we move forward in life and achieve the things we want to achieve. Be it that new job, or perhaps that degree, or even learning an instrument. The question is, are you manifesting your destiny? Are you putting the pieces of your life in place in a way that will facilitate your destiny being fulfilled?

While I don't claim to have the answers as everyone's situation is different, I do believe we have the ability to design our lives. We have the ability to recover from setbacks and continue to be the architects of our futures. Is it easy? Of course not. Is it worth it to see your plans and visions begin to take on life? Damn right.

Ultimately, it's up to you to manifest your destiny and continue to grind and push forward despite the storms and obstacles that are thrown your way. Keep putting those pieces in place on your chess board. You won't regret it.
